The NBA announced on May 24 that Miami HEAT forward LeBron James has been named to the 2011-12 All-NBA First Team and HEAT guard Dwyane Wade has been named to the 2011-12 All-NBA Third Team. James led all players with 596 points, including 118 of a possible 120 First Team votes.

The NBA has suspended HEAT Forward Udonis Haslem for Game 6, while Dexter Pittman gets a three-game suspension.

The HEAT took Game 5 against the Pacers on the strength of run outs, earning 22 fast-break points. That doesn't mean the team was trying to run more in that game than any other, though. The Miami HEAT need Dwyane Wade to play better than he did when shooting 2-of-13 in Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers, but it's not all on him. The team can help Wade by affording him more space to operate in and get him easier opportunities. Because the HEAT don't just need Wade to score, they need him to be efficient.
