Mark West
Known as "Big Daddy," Mark
West is now in his second stint with the Suns. After arriving from
Cleveland on Feb. 25, 1988, along with Kevin Johnson and Ty Corbin,
in a deal for Larry Nance, West played 521 regular season and 71
playoff games with the Suns over the next six-plus seasons. He led
the Suns and the NBA in field goal percentage in 1989-90 (.625), a
year in which he also averaged a career-high 10.5 points and 8.9
boards. West ranks second in NBA history in field goal percentage.
On the Suns' all-time career list, West ranks first in field goal
percentage, fifth in rebounds and second in blocked shots.
